This panel discussion will explore the future of social value in public-sector procurement. Since the inception of the social value act in 2012, social value has been a growing priority in the public sector. Key legislation, such as PPN 06/20 has driven this agenda forward. Panellists will discuss current challenges and what's next for social value.

​Are definitions limiting or progressing the future of the social economy?

As the social economy grows, a need to verify and validate impact is becoming increasingly important. We will discuss the importance of accreditations, and explore whether they are an effective means of signalling environmental and social impact or just redundant labels.
